Coind and Ima have partnered to install three fully automated 4.0 production lines at Coind's Castel Maggiore plant, with an investment of €7.5 million. The new lines increase capsule production capacity from 150 million to over 250 million capsules per year.

HCT announced it has acquired 100% control of HCT Kent Packaging Ltd., a Chinese plant co-founded in 2006 with Taiwanese businessman Kent Lee. The 47,000 square metre facility makes plastic injection-moulded, extrusion-blow and injection-blow moulded packaging for beauty brands.
