Georg Fischer (GF) signed an agreement to acquire VAG-Group, a Mannheim-based maker of water utility valves owned by Aurelius. VAG has about 1,000 employees and annual sales of roughly EUR 200 million. The deal value was not disclosed in this announcement.

AURELIUS Equity Opportunities completed the sale of its subsidiary Solidus Solutions, a European maker of solid board packaging from recycled paper, to funds advised by Centerbridge Partners at an enterprise value of about EUR 330 million on 5 September 2019.

Nidec Corporation completed the acquisition of 100% of Secop Holding GmbH and other Secop entities, German compressor manufacturer, from Aurelius on July 31, 2017. The companies are being renamed Nidec Global Appliance entities.

Japanese motor maker Nidec plans to fully acquire the Secop group, a German refrigerator components maker, in a deal valued at $227 million. The move aims to capture demand from tightening environmental regulations.

Plastipak Packaging completed the acquisition of the business assets of Evolve Polymers Ltd. from Aurelius at its Hemswell Cliff site in the UK, which can process 6 to 9 billion PET bottles a year. The business began operating immediately under Plastipak's ownership.
