Stirling Square Capital Partners signed a contract with Wise Equity to acquire 100% of Tapì, an Italian maker of premium beverage closures. The deal is expected to close in early 2023. No price was disclosed.
Vernet Group, a portfolio company of Stirling Square Capital Partners, acquired Rostra Vernatherm, a portfolio company of Nikel Holdings and Valencia Capital, for an undisclosed amount. Rostra makes thermal control products for aerospace and defense, automotive and general industrial markets and will be renamed Vernatherm by Vernet.
DBAG Fund VII, advised by Deutsche Beteiligungs AG, will acquire the majority of Cartonplast Group from Stirling Square Capital Partners in a management buy-out. Closing is subject to antitrust approval and is not expected before October 2019.
Deutsche Beteiligungs AG acquired reusable plastic layer pad maker Cartonplast, headquartered in Dietzenbach, from financial investor Stirling Square Capital Partners, with management participating under the new ownership.
Deutsche Beteiligungs AG will co-invest about EUR 26 million alongside DBAG Fund VII, which takes a majority stake in Cartonplast Group GmbH from Stirling Square Capital Partners in a management buy-out. Closing is not expected before October 2019.
