Atlas Copco agreed to acquire Sykes Group Pty Ltd from Seven Group Holdings, a manufacturer of dewatering pumps based in Newcastle, New South Wales. The price was not disclosed and closing is expected in Q4 2023.

SKF signed an agreement to sell Spandau Pumpen, its coolant pump business, to EBARA Pumps Europe S.p.A., a group company of EBARA Corporation. The divestment is expected to close at the end of September 2023 and is not material to SKF's financials.

Triosim Corporation signed a purchase agreement for the assets of Somarakis, Inc., including inventory and intellectual property, making it the authorized Somarakis pump repair provider. Xylem said it would acquire the Cornell Pump and Roper Pump businesses from Indicor for $1.46 billion, expanding its industrial and municipal pumping operations.

Momentum Group signed an agreement on 22 May 2023 to acquire 93.7 percent of Askalon AB from the founding Warnqvist family, at an enterprise value of SEK 240 million for 100 percent. Closing is expected in early June 2023.

Ambienta's water pump platform Wateralia acquired Italian pump distributors Linea Ricambi and Bergomi Trading, combined as Caprari Trading. The two companies serve more than 850 clients and add aftersales and distribution capacity to Wateralia.

DXP Enterprises announced it completed the acquisitions of Riordan Materials Corporation and Florida Valve & Equipment/Environmental MD, both water-market suppliers, funded with cash. Fort Wayne-based industrial supplier 3BG has completed its acquisition of Controls and Electric Motor Co. (CEMCO), a provider of motors, drives and pumps in southwest Missouri. Financial terms were not disclosed and the Missouri facility will stay open with plans to expand.

Indutrade acquired Waalwijk-based Siersema Komponenten Service BV, a distributor of valves, pumps, filters and heat exchangers for food and pharmaceutical processing. The company has about 35 million euros in annual sales and 50 employees.

Holland Pump Co acquired BPR Pumping & Vacuum Solutions, a Texas pump rental business with Houston and Austin branches. The deal is Holland Pump's sixth acquisition since partnering with XPV Water Partners.

Xylem entered a definitive agreement to acquire Evoqua Water Technologies in a US$7.5 billion all-stock transaction. The deal adds advanced water treatment and service capabilities.

Celeros Flow Technology entered a definitive agreement to sell its Filtration business unit to UK-headquartered private equity firm Px3 Partners.

Thompson Pump distributor Florida Pumping Solutions acquired American Sock & Dewatering, a socking company in Northern Florida.

Atlas Copco agreed to acquire National Pump & Energy, a pump, power and compressor rental and sales business in Australia and New Zealand, with closing expected in Q2 2023. The price was not disclosed.

Krones signed an agreement on 20 April 2023 to acquire 90% of Ampco Pumps Company LLC, a Wisconsin supplier of sanitary pumps and mixing equipment to food, beverage, dairy and pharma markets. Ampco generated about US$50 million revenue in fiscal 2022, and closing is expected in the first half of 2023.

PumpMan Holdings acquired the DAS Group, a Pittsburgh manufacturer's representative for municipal water and wastewater process equipment, and merged it into PumpMan Pittsburgh in Allison Park, Pennsylvania. The deal is PumpMan's twelfth acquisition.

Danish marine pump specialist Svanehøj acquired Complete Cryogenic Services in Tustin, California, which services electric submerged pumps on LNG carriers. CCS will continue as Svanehøj CCS under Svanehøj Service Solutions with its nine employees.

Flowserve agreed to acquire Velan in an all-cash deal valued at about $245 million (C$329 million), including assumed debt. The transaction is expected to close by the end of the second quarter of 2023.

KSB Limited acquired the technology of the products made by Bharat Pumps and Compressors Ltd in Naini, Prayagraj, giving it sole ownership. KSB's SupremeServ unit will handle spare parts and service for around 5000 BP&CL products in India.
