Ebara Pumps Europe agreed to acquire Spandau Pumpen, SKF Lubrication Systems Germany's maker of screw-type and seal-less coolant pumps for machine tools, with production to move to Italy; the deal was expected to close at the end of September 2023.
SKF signed an agreement to sell Spandau Pumpen, its coolant pump business, to EBARA Pumps Europe S.p.A., a group company of EBARA Corporation. The divestment is expected to close at the end of September 2023 and is not material to SKF's financials.
EBARA Pumps Europe S.p.A. agreed to acquire the submersible pump production business Spandau Pumpen from SKF Lubrication Systems Germany GmbH effective 11 July 2023, moving production to Italy.
