Investindustrial acquired Italian pump and valve maker CEME Group from Investcorp for €280 million, taking a 97% stake with management keeping the rest. The deal was backed by a €130 million senior debt package.
CEME Group announced the acquisition of Micropump, a US pump maker headquartered in Vancouver, Washington, to expand its fluid control offering. The announcement was dated 2023-10-19 and no price was given.
Micropump joined CEME Group as of 3 August 2023, forming a fluid control group that combines solenoid valves and rotary vane, gear and special pumps. The announcement was published on 19 September 2023.
