Crane Company has acquired Vian Enterprises, a designer and manufacturer of multi-stage lubrication pumps for aerospace and defense applications, for approximately $103 million on a cash-free, debt-free basis. Vian had about $33 million trailing 12-month sales.

Control Devices, a portfolio company of HBM Holdings, has acquired Gilmore, which designs and manufactures severe service valves and pressure relief systems for the upstream oil and gas industry. Terms were not disclosed.

Pedrollo Group has acquired a majority stake in PM, a submersible motor maker based in Brendola (Vicenza), Italy. It is Pedrollo's fourth growth transaction since 2019.

Fairbanks Morse Defense, an Arcline portfolio company, acquired Hunt Valve Company, a maker of naval valves and electromechanical actuators with facilities in Salem, Ohio and Montreal. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Denmark's AVK Group acquired a majority ownership stake in Croatia-based industrial valve manufacturer OMV-INDOIL, with the deal completed on 10 February 2021.

Franklin Electric's subsidiary Headwater Companies acquired substantially all assets of LCA Pump, LLC, which operates Water Works Pump, a groundwater distributor in Springfield, MO. It will operate as a branch of Headwater Wholesale.

Workdry International, parent of Selwood and Siltbuster, acquired Netherlands-based temporary pumping specialist Vanderkamp Group in the first quarter of 2024.

ITT Inc. completed its acquisition of Svanehøj Group A/S, a supplier of cryogenic and marine pumps with about 400 employees. The deal was funded by a €300 million term loan and the business joins ITT's Industrial Process segment.

Trive Capital formed Venturi Supply, a pipe, valve and fittings distributor headquartered in Phoenix, by combining six PVF distribution businesses. Venturi serves customers across 42 facilities in the U.S.

RMT Valvomeccanica officially acquired PIBIVIESSE, a ball and control valve producer, as part of the GIVA Group, with the transaction finalized on December 13, 2023. The companies will keep separate organisational and production structures.

AMETEK Dynamic Fluid Solutions and the former Bison Gear and Engineering Corp. have merged to form Bison, a business of AMETEK, Inc., making fluid-moving and motor drive products such as motors, blowers, pumps and gear motors. Manufacturing is in the US and Mexico with China facilities.

Atlas Copco completed its acquisition of Sykes Group Pty Ltd from Seven Group Holdings, a Newcastle, New South Wales maker of mining and wastewater dewatering pumps with 123 employees and about 65 MAUD in annual revenue. The purchase price was not disclosed.

Winsupply Inc. of Dayton, Ohio acquired Milford Companies, a distributor of pipe, valve and fitting and waterworks supplies with five locations in Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico. Chase Brown will remain president.

ACI-Somagep, part of Parlym Group, acquired Jiangsu Colves Fluid Control, an industrial valve maker in Nantong, China, and its Italian distributor Colves Fluid Control to secure valve manufacturing quality.

Atlas Copco agreed to acquire KRACHT GmbH, a German maker of external gear pumps, fluid measurement, valves and hydraulic drives, with about 440 employees and 2022 revenues of about 72 million euros; closing is expected in Q1 2024.

ACI-Somagep, part of Parlym Group, acquired Jiangsu Colves Fluid Control, an industrial valve manufacturer in Nantong, China, and its Italian distributor Colves Fluid Control. The deal strengthens ACI-Somagep's supply chain and gives it a manufacturing base in Asia.

KSB Limited has acquired the technology of Bharat Pumps & Compressors Ltd, becoming its sole owner, and will use its SupremeServ unit to handle spare parts and service for about 5,000 BP&CL products in India.

Coffin Turbo Pump Inc. acquired JR Engineering and Machining Corporation of Hillsdale, New Jersey, combining pump design, manufacturing and repair services. JRE operations will be consolidated into Englewood, NJ facilities.

Avingtrans subsidiary Hayward Tyler Fluid Handling acquired certain assets of Slack & Parr from administration, plus its US and Asian subsidiaries, for a total consideration of GBP 4.9 million.

Duoning Biotechnology signed an agreement to acquire Changzhou PreFluid Technology, a Chinese peristaltic pump manufacturer with a 10,000 sq m factory in Changzhou. PreFluid's pumps serve medical, pharmaceutical, chemical and environmental industries.

Graham Corporation has acquired P3 Technologies LLC of Jupiter, Florida, a custom turbomachinery engineering and manufacturing business for space, new energy and medical markets. P3 develops pumps, compressors, turbines, high-speed rotors and cryogenic pumps.

Casappa SpA completed the acquisition of 100% of the share capital of Benvenuti Srl, a precision machinery company headquartered in Sant'Ippolito, Pesaro Urbino, Italy. The press release is dated 9 November 2023.

Ambienta has acquired Italian centrifugal pump maker Caprari, which will be rebranded as Wateralia, with the Caprari family keeping a minority stake. Ambienta plans to use the business as a platform for consolidation in water pumps.

Investindustrial acquired Italian pump and valve maker CEME Group from Investcorp for €280 million, taking a 97% stake with management keeping the rest. The deal was backed by a €130 million senior debt package.

Ebara Pumps Europe agreed to acquire Spandau Pumpen, SKF Lubrication Systems Germany's maker of screw-type and seal-less coolant pumps for machine tools, with production to move to Italy; the deal was expected to close at the end of September 2023.

Japan's Torishima Pump Mfg formed a joint venture with UK sealing company AES Engineering to create AESSEAL-Torishima Japan Co Ltd, which will supply and service AES seals in Japan from Torishima's Osaka headquarters.

ITT Inc. has signed an agreement to acquire Svanehøj Group A/S, a marine pump specialist, for about $395 million. Svanehøj will become part of ITT's Industrial Process segment, focused on pumps, valves and aftermarket services.

Andritz signed an agreement to acquire the NAF AB control valve business from Flowserve Corporation. NAF, headquartered in Linköping, Sweden, makes process control valves for pulp and paper and other industries. No price was disclosed.

Atlas Copco agreed to acquire Presys Co., Ltd., a privately owned vacuum valve maker with 134 employees in Suwon, South Korea. The purchase price was not disclosed and closing is expected in Q1 2024, subject to regulatory approval.

Busch Vacuum Solutions has acquired centrotherm clean solutions, a maker of industrial gas abatement systems for the semiconductor and high-tech industries. The Blaubeuren headquarters and all jobs will be retained, and the deal is aligned with Pfeiffer Vacuum.

IKM Gruppen signed an agreement to buy 100% of the shares of Flux Holding AS, a Norwegian supplier of umbilicals, valves, hoses and couplings for the energy sector. Flux has about 61 employees and sites in Stavanger, Bergen and Porsgrunn. The price was not disclosed.

CEME Group announced the acquisition of Micropump, a US pump maker headquartered in Vancouver, Washington, to expand its fluid control offering. The announcement was dated 2023-10-19 and no price was given.

Investment affiliates of KKR completed their acquisition of CIRCOR International at $56.00 per share, and CIRCOR stock stopped trading on the NYSE. The completion was announced on 2023-10-18.

Japan's Torishima Pump Mfg and UK sealing company AES Engineering formed a joint venture, AESSEAL-Torishima Japan, based in Osaka to supply and service AES seal products in Japan.

Bain Capital Private Equity has closed its acquisition of Harrington Process Solutions, a specialty distributor of industrial flow control process solutions based in Chino, California. The deal was announced as completed on October 5, 2023.

PumpMan acquired Flo-Systems, Inc., a family-owned water and wastewater pump service firm serving the St. Louis metro and Southern Illinois, to expand its coverage.

NIBCO announced it completed the acquisition of Matco-Norca, a maker of valves and water heater isolation kits. The deal was reported on 23 September 2023.

Machinery Services Co. and Rapid Pump & Meter Service Co., a Hidden Harbor Capital Partners portfolio company, acquired Delta-Electro Power, which provides maintenance and electrical services for motors and pumps. The deal expands Rapid Pump into Rhode Island and Massachusetts.

Aci-Somagep, a subsidiary of French group Parlym, acquired 100% of Colves Fluid Control and its China-based subsidiary Jiangsu Colves Fluid Control from Trouvay & Cauvin Holding Group. The deal covers industrial valves and integrated systems for oil and gas, petrochemical and water treatment uses.

Finish Thompson acquired Penguin Pumps, parent of Filter Pump Industries, a 24-person southern California maker of corrosion-resistant pumps, mixers and filter systems. Penguin Pumps will operate as an independent subsidiary.

SubC Partner acquired the Esbjerg division of SH Group, taking over employees, resources and capacity in valve and hydraulic services. The deal was announced on September 6, 2023, and SH Group will still use SubC Partner's Esbjerg presence.

Japanese pump maker Tsurumi became majority shareholder of British distributor Obart in Maidstone, Kent, which now trades as Tsurumi Pumps UK from 1 September 2023. The move gives Tsurumi six sales companies in Europe.

Flowserve and Velan extended the outside date of their February 2023 arrangement agreement by 30 days to October 7, 2023, because regulatory approvals were not yet all obtained.

Private equity firm KKR is set to acquire Circor International, a global pump-and-valve manufacturer, for about $1.7 billion or $56 per share, after outbidding a rival offer from Arcline. The deal is expected to close in Q4 2023, pending regulatory approvals.

Saudi Arabian Gas Arabian Services Company (GAS) signed an agreement with India's Tubefit Engineers to set up Tubefit Arabia Factory, a valve and instrumentation fittings joint venture in Saudi Arabia. Tubefit Engineers will hold 53% and GAS 47%, with an investment of $1.33 million.

AxFlow Norway Group acquired VA-Prosjekt Midt-Norge AS, a Trondheim supplier of pump stations and elevated reservoirs with 2021 revenue of NOK 77 million. The company continues as a separate subsidiary in the same premises.

Flexaseal Engineered Seals and Systems acquired Sound Seal and Packing of Edmonds, Washington, gaining its ViseSeal product and a Pacific Northwest presence. Deal value was not disclosed.
