Ambienta acquires Caprari pump maker, to be rebranded Wateralia
Ambienta has acquired Italian centrifugal pump maker Caprari, which will be rebranded as Wateralia, with the Caprari family keeping a minority stake. Ambienta plans to use the business as a platform for consolidation in water pumps.

Italian pump maker Calpeda is joining Wateralia, a platform company backed by Ambienta SGR that already includes Caprari. The combined group will have sales above €220 million, five production sites and 1,000 employees; the announcement was made on 26 July 2022.
