German vacuum pump maker Busch Vacuum Solutions has closed its acquisition of Pfeiffer Vacuum, adding high and ultra-high vacuum pumps and leak detection services. The deal was reported on March 22, 2024, and the exact closing date and value were not given.
Busch Vacuum Solutions has acquired centrotherm clean solutions, a maker of industrial gas abatement systems for the semiconductor and high-tech industries. The Blaubeuren headquarters and all jobs will be retained, and the deal is aligned with Pfeiffer Vacuum.
Pfeiffer Vacuum Romania, a subsidiary of Germany's Pfeiffer Vacuum, completed a 13 million euro investment in a 4,500 sq m industrial pump production and repair plant in the Nervia park in Apahida, Cluj, adding 26 jobs.
