Grupo La Moderna announced an investment of €41.64 million to build a new pasta plant in Toluca, State of Mexico. The plant will have a production capacity of 70,000 tonnes per month.

Align Technology opened its first manufacturing plant in the EMEA region in Wrocław, Poland, its third regional production center globally. The 80,000 sqm facility started operations in Q2 2022 and is expected to create over 2,500 jobs by 2025.

Geleximco Group plans to build an $800 million automobile manufacturing and assembling factory in Tien Hai Industrial Park, Thai Binh Province, Vietnam. The first phase, costing $300 million, is expected to start construction in Q1 2023 and begin operation in Q3 2024 with an annual capacity of 50,000 cars.

Lingong Machinery Group (LGMG) broke ground on a new plant in Marin, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, to produce articulated electric elevators for export to the United States. The investment is US$140 million and will generate 1,400 jobs.

GreenFeed Vietnam Joint Stock Company will build a food processing factory in Tay Ninh province, with construction starting in 2023 and completion in 2024. The factory will have a capacity of 24,000-26,000 tons per year and total investment of over VND700 billion ($29.53 million).

Veolia Water Technologies is constructing its largest and most sustainable manufacturing facility in Rivas, Spain, with a total annual production capacity of over 1,000 standard units, expected to be completed by end of 2022.

Signé Hurtubise completed a new $22 million, 70,000-sq.-ft. manufacturing plant in Drummondville, Quebec, dedicated to aluminum panel production, which became operational in October 2021.

Terumo Cardiovascular opened a new manufacturing facility in La Lima, Cartago, Costa Rica, to produce perfusion circuits. The $42 million investment will employ about 300 associates by the end of 2022.

Luoyang Glass' wholly-owned subsidiary CNBM (Luoyang) New Energy started construction of a solar photovoltaic battery encapsulation material project in Luoyang, China. The first phase investment is about 2.3 billion RMB, with two 1200T/D production lines and an annual capacity of 137 million square meters of high-transparency solar PV encapsulation material.

BIOPHIL Natural Fibers will invest more than $10.9 million to locate a new hemp processing operation in Lumberton, Robeson County, North Carolina, creating 41 jobs. The 90,829-square-foot facility will process hemp stalk into fiber and hurd.

Bosch Rexroth will build a new 42,000 sq m plant in Queretaro, Mexico, investing about 160 million euros to make mobile hydraulics and factory automation components for North America. Opening is planned for mid-2023, with over 900 jobs after full commissioning in 2027.

CIMAF Gabon announced plans to build a clinker factory in the Meba area of Gabon, 40 km east of Libreville. An investment agreement was signed with Gabonese authorities on 13 September 2022.

Rosenberger started production at a new plant in Changzhou, China, focusing on high-end connectors for new energy vehicles, automotive wiring harness products and high-speed solutions. Phase I covers 10,500 square meters, with Phase II under construction adding 30,000 square meters.

China Lingong Machinery Group (LGMG) held a groundbreaking ceremony for a new $140 million manufacturing facility in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, to produce industrial electric articulating boom lifts. The project is expected to create over 1,400 jobs.

Ampacet opened a new production plant in Brembate (BG), Italy, doubling additive capacity. The facility is based on Industry 4.0 standards and designed for minimal environmental impact.

Vedanta and Foxconn will invest Rs 1.54 lakh crore to set up a semiconductor fab, display fab, and assembly/testing unit on 1000 acres in Ahmedabad district, Gujarat. Production is expected to start in two years.

Boeing unveiled its new Advanced Composite Fabrication Center in Mesa, Arizona, a 155,000 ft² facility operated by Phantom Works to produce advanced composite components for future combat aircraft. The construction phase is complete and the centre is expected to be fully operational in fall 2022.

Elsewedy Electric inaugurated phase two of its industrial complex in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, including a new transformers factory with a production capacity of 2,500 oil-immersed distribution transformers per year.

Airbus Atlantic is inaugurating a new factory in Santo Tirso, Portugal, for producing aircraft seats for the Airbus A320 and A350. The investment is €40 million, the site will cover 20,000 m², and the operation expects to employ up to 150 people by the end of 2022.

DS Smith launched a new state-of-the-art sustainable packaging facility in Belchatow, Poland, on 15 September 2022, part of a combined £100m investment with its new Italian site. The site is expected to help create part of more than 250 new roles across both countries.

Schneider Electric announced a HUF 16 billion investment to build a new production site in Dunavecse, Bács-Kiskun County, Hungary, to manufacture medium voltage components for electric switching apparatus. The smart plant will have a floor area of 20,000 square metres and create nearly 500 jobs.

Anhui Quantai New Materials Co., Ltd.'s project for annual output of 3,000 tons of new silicone materials and 50,000 tons of polymer functional emulsions (Phase I) has passed the environmental impact assessment and is about to enter construction. Total investment is CNY 754 million.

Sandvik officially launched its new Khomanani head office, workshop and manufacturing complex in Kempton Park, South Africa, on September 9, 2022. The facility, built with a R350-million investment, consolidates operations from five previous sites and accommodates 550 employees.

Amcor has opened a new innovation center in Jiangsu province, East China, with a $10 million investment. It is the company's second-biggest innovation center after North America.

Koksan PET Packaging Industry will build a new chemically recycled PET (R-PET) plant in Turkey with capacity of 300 tons per day using its patented process. The plant is expected to be operational by the end of 2023.
