Mahindra Aerostructures signed a multi-year contract worth around $100 million with Airbus Atlantic to manufacture and deliver metallic components for the entire Airbus commercial aircraft family, including the A320 family. The company will supply close to 2,300 varieties of metallic components from its manufacturing base in India.

Mahindra Aerostructures Pvt Ltd and Airbus Atlantic signed a multi-year contract worth approximately USD 100 million for the manufacture and delivery of metallic components and small assemblies for the entire Airbus commercial aircraft family, including the A320 family.

Airbus Atlantic has begun construction of three new production halls in Rochefort, France, to increase aerostructure assembly capacity and create 200 new jobs. The contract was awarded to a consortium led by Eiffage Construction in April 2023.

Airbus has begun producing the first structural parts for its new A350F freighter, including the Centre Wing Box at Airbus Atlantic in Nantes. The aircraft is on track for development.

Gaussin has received a new order from Airbus Atlantic for two Multi-Purpose Vehicles, heavy-load transporters.

Airbus Atlantic CEO Cédric Gautier announced the intention to double the investment in its Santo Tirso, Portugal factory, which currently produces fuselage sections for A320 and A350 aircraft. The initial investment was €40 million, and the factory currently employs 130 workers, expected to reach 250 by end of 2023.
