BIOPHIL Natural Fibers LLC received a $250,000 state grant to support the reuse of a 90,000-square-foot building in Lumberton, North Carolina, for hemp processing, creating 38 jobs and $4.3 million in private investment.

BIOPHIL Natural Fibers will invest more than $10.9 million to locate a new hemp processing operation in Lumberton, Robeson County, North Carolina, creating 41 jobs. The 90,829-square-foot facility will process hemp stalk into fiber and hurd.
