US-based multinational Trillium Flow Technologies has acquired Italian industrial pump maker Termomeccanica Pompe, based in La Spezia. The deal was under negotiation since the second half of 2021 and gives Trillium a base in Italy to expand globally.

Trillium Flow Technologies, a First Reserve portfolio company, has completed its acquisition of Termomeccanica Pompe, a La Spezia, Italy maker of vertical turbine and split case pumps. The deal expands Trillium's water infrastructure exposure.

Cork-based EPS Group acquired Dublin-based Industrial Pumps and Process (IPP) Ltd, a supplier of pumping equipment to building services and industrial sectors. The deal extends EPS into Dublin and supports its data centre strategy.

ITT Inc bought Habonim, a valve manufacturer based in Kfar HaNassi, Israel, in an all-cash deal valued at US$140 million. Habonim becomes part of ITT's Industrial Process segment.

Finnish paper-industry equipment maker Valmet completed its merger with valve company Neles on April 1, 2022, creating a combined company with valve and automation operations.

LPW Group, a Wynnchurch Capital portfolio company, announced the acquisition of El Mar Ventures and its subsidiaries and Advanced Industrial Technologies. The Houston-based combined business makes specialty valves, pneumatic actuators and gears under the Ladish, Smith, AIT and Diamond Gear brands.

AES Engineering Group acquired a controlling stake in Stevco Seals & Pumps and Australian Engineering Sales & Service, forming AESSEAL NSW Pty Ltd in New South Wales. The price was undisclosed and the deal was completed on March 31, 2022.

Neles Corporation and Valmet Oyj completed their merger, with trading in the new Valmet shares starting April 1, 2022. The Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority had approved a supplement to the merger prospectus.

Fidelium portfolio company Evamo acquired the steering and transmission pump business of Bosch Automotive Steering through a carve-out, with NETWORK advising on the external financing. Evamo has about 900 employees across six sites.

IDEX Corporation signed a definitive agreement to acquire KZ Co. (KZValve), a Nebraska maker of electric valves and controllers for agriculture, expected to close in Q2 FY2022.

Stiebel Eltron Group acquired PAW GmbH & Co. KG, a family-owned maker of heating, freshwater and flat-station distribution systems employing about 150 people in Hameln, Germany. Terms were undisclosed and Livingstone Partners advised on the sale.

Atlas Copco agreed on 2022-03-21 to acquire Lewa GmbH and Geveke B.V. and their subsidiaries for a combined enterprise value of EUR 670 million. The deal is all-cash and subject to regulatory approvals, with completion expected in Q2 2022.

Hunt Valve Company acquired Quebec-based supplier Montreal Bronze Ltd., which becomes a division named MB Valve.

White Knight Fluid Handling, a Graco subsidiary, acquired Irvine, California-based International Polymer Solutions (iPolymer), a maker of high-purity plastic fluid handling valves and fittings for semiconductor and other industries.

Geveke, an Amsterdam-based industrial goods and services company that provides pumps and compressors, was acquired by Atlas Copco on March 15, 2022. The terms were not disclosed.

Atlas Copco agreed to acquire Geveke B.V., an Amsterdam-based distributor and engineer of process pump and compressor systems, for an enterprise value of EUR 80 million in cash. Geveke had about 173 employees and EUR 61 million revenue in 2021. Closing was expected in Q2 2022.

URACA, a maker of high-pressure plunger pumps, completed its acquisition of cleaning equipment companies Hydroclean and SAT Dimaco on 10 March 2022. Financial terms were not disclosed.

DXP Enterprises completed its acquisition of Drydon Equipment, a distributor of pumps, valves and controls based in Elgin, Illinois, serving the water and wastewater industry. Terms were not disclosed.

Axel Johnson International's AxFlow has acquired Pumpegruppen A/S, a Danish pump specialist serving chemical, food, pharmaceutical and water treatment industries, with bases in Lyngby and Rønde.

Voss Fluid acquired a majority stake in HypTec, an Austrian developer of hydrogen and natural gas high-pressure valves, expanding its fluid transport portfolio. The deal was reported on 2022-02-24.

Italian valve maker Gruppo OMB, through OMB Valves Spa, acquired Nencini Spa of Siena from Gruppo Ipi. Nencini makes large hydraulic valves for dams and hydroelectric plants, opening OMB's entry into the hydraulic valve market.

Marshall Excelsior Company, a Harbour Group company, acquired Xanor de Mexico (Xanik), a Mexico City maker of specialty severe-service valves. Terms were not disclosed.

Jiangsu Shentong signed a letter of intent with Dewei Valve Casting (Suzhou) and its controlling shareholder HOT EXCESS HOLDINGS to take control of Dewei through a mix of share purchase and cash capital injection. Dewei is a valve supplier to major international oil and gas companies.

Danish marine pump maker Svanehøj has acquired Wärtsilä Tank Control Systems, a maker of LNG tank gauging systems, and is establishing Svanehøj France as a land-based business at its Calais, France facility with almost 40 employees.

Proconex is combining the former Emerson valve repair facility in Burlington, New Jersey with its Atlantic Valve Services center in Swedesboro, New Jersey, expanding its valve repair and service capabilities.

Epiris is acquiring Stuart Turner, a UK maker of brass pumps and water boosting systems based in Henley-on-Thames. Barings acted as sole lender of the secured credit facilities for the deal, announced February 2, 2022.

SPIR STAR AG has taken over all business activities of the sole proprietorship Skarke Ventilsysteme through its new subsidiary Skarke GmbH in Rimbach, Germany, at the start of fiscal year 2022. The company makes oil drain valves, breather valves, filters and dipsticks.

Wajax Corporation acquired the net operating assets of Thunder Bay-based Process Flow Systems Ltd., an industrial pump and valve integrator, for about $3.96 million cash plus an earnout of up to $650,000. The deal was announced January 31, 2022.

Munich-based Liberta Partners acquired a majority stake in CWFC Phönix Group GmbH, a valve maker in Volkmarsen, Germany, as a carve-out from Curtiss-Wright. The company has a capacity of 30,000 valves per year.

Trillium Flow Technology Group, owned by First Reserve Capital, agreed to acquire Termomeccanica SpA's entire centrifugal pump division, including TMP Spa and five foreign subsidiaries, through its Italian subsidiary.

F.W. Webb Company acquired Stritt & Priebe Inc., a specialist in industrial valve supply, service and repair based in Buffalo, New York, announced January 24, 2022.

Atlas Copco has completed the acquisition of HHV Pumps Pvt. Ltd., a Bengaluru-based designer and maker of vacuum pumps and systems, on January 21, 2022. The purchase price was not disclosed, and the business joins the Industrial Vacuum Division.

Termomeccanica and Trillium Flow Technologies signed an agreement transferring Termomeccanica Pompe's production, sales and service activities to Gabbioneta Pumps, a Trillium group company. The value was not disclosed.

Aerzen USA announced on January 19, 2022 the acquisition of Vooner FloGard Corporation, a vacuum pump manufacturer headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina with manufacturing in Greeneville, Tennessee. The newly formed company will be known as Vooner FloGard LLC.

Aerzen USA, a subsidiary of Aerzener Maschinenfabrik GmbH, announced the acquisition of Vooner FloGard Corporation, a vacuum pump maker headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina with manufacturing in Greeneville.

Trillium Flow Technologies signed a joint agreement to acquire Termomeccanica Pompe S.p.A., bringing its Termomeccanica Pompe, Gabbioneta Pumps and Begemann brands under Trillium in Italy; closing is expected in three to four months.

Termomeccanica and Trillium Flow Technologies signed an agreement transferring Termomeccanica Pompe's production, sales and service activities to Gabbioneta Pumps, a Trillium group company; the transfer is expected to become operative around April.

Duplomatic Oleodinamica, controlled by AXA Private Equity, acquired the hydraulic components division of Continental Machines Inc. through its US subsidiary Continental Hydraulics. The division had a reported 2010 turnover of USD 18.4 million. The deal value was not disclosed.

Finnish valve maker Neles Corp has completed its acquisition of the valve and pump businesses of Flowrox. The completion was reported on 14 January 2022.

JTEKT Corporation agreed to sell its French industrial hydraulic components division HPI Industrial to EiM Capital and Apogee, following a December 2021 put option; the deal is subject to employee consultation and expected to complete in the first half of 2022.

CECO Environmental agreed to acquire GRC, a maker of rubber expansion joints and flow control products, through its Effox-Flextor-Mader joint venture. The deal is expected to close by April 2022.

Unibloc Pump, a Kennesaw, Georgia flow control manufacturer, has acquired Standard Pump, a Duluth, Georgia maker of sanitary and industrial process pumps, on January 5, 2022.

Industrial Flow Solutions agreed to acquire Dreno Pompe, an Italian maker of electrical submersible wastewater pumps based in Monselice, Padua. Dreno will keep its name and plant in the Veneto region.

Ohio Transmission Corporation, an industrial equipment distributor, acquired TP Pump, a pump line supplier serving New Mexico and northern Arizona from Albuquerque. The deal was announced on December 15, 2021, and terms were not disclosed.

Lone Star Funds agreed to buy industrial pump and valve maker SPX Flow Inc. for $3.8 billion including assumed debt, at $86.50 per share in cash. The deal was announced on December 13, 2021.

SBP Holdings has acquired Watts Steam Store and subsidiaries, which operates three locations in Twin Falls and Idaho Falls, Idaho and Ogden, Utah. The business will join SBP's Dakota Fluid Power platform, announced December 1, 2021.

Industrial Flow Solutions has acquired Clearwater Controls Ltd, a UK provider of intelligent pump-monitoring and anti-ragging solutions. The deal was reported on December 1, 2021.

Pittsburgh-based West View Cunningham Co. bought certain assets of G&W Industrial Sales of Parkersburg, West Virginia, taking over sales of Wilden Pumps and Strahman Valves product lines. The deal strengthens its Parkersburg location's engineering and maintenance capabilities.

Air Hydro Power Inc. of Louisville, Kentucky acquired the assets of Gatterdam Industrial Services, a provider of electrical motor, monitoring and fluidic pump repair and field services, effective November 15, 2021. The acquisition adds twenty employees.
