Atlas Copco and Nikkiso reached agreement for Atlas Copco to acquire 100% of pump maker LEWA GmbH and Geveke bv. Geveke will continue as an independent company within Atlas Copco's Power & Flow division.
The Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets cleared the acquisition of industrial manufacturers Geveke and LEWA by Atlas, finding sufficient competition remains in industrial pumps and air compressors. The decision was dated 26 July 2022.
Atlas Copco has agreed to acquire the assets of Shandong Jinggong Pump (Chinco), a Zibo-based maker of liquid ring vacuum pumps and systems, with closing expected in Q4 2022. The purchase price was not disclosed.
