Vocxi Health and Forj Medical announced a partnership to miniaturize a breath-based cancer detection device platform, accelerating development of the MyBreathPrint device for lung cancer detection.

Forj Medical announced the opening of its new advanced manufacturing facility in Costa Rica, expanding its global production footprint and nearshore capabilities for medical device OEMs.

Private equity firm Altaris Capital Partners combined its portfolio companies Minnetronix Medical and Intricon to create Forj Medical, a vertically integrated medical device contract manufacturer. Financial terms were not disclosed.

IntriCon Corporation acquired Minnetronix, Inc. from Altaris, LLC on October 8, 2025. The combined company will operate as Forj Medical, with Mauricio Arellano as Executive Chair and Jeremy Maniak as CEO.
