Berry Global acquired Laddawn, a blown polyethylene bags and films business, in Q3 2018 for $145 million.

Berry Global will install a new Spinlace production line at its Mooresville, NC facility, adding 17,000 metric tons of annual capacity for nonwovens, with commercial production expected in mid-2019.

Berry Global Group announced a definitive agreement to acquire Clopay Plastic Products Co. Inc., a subsidiary of Griffon Corp., for $475 million in cash. Clopay is a global supplier of printed breathable films and elastic films for hygiene, healthcare, construction and industrial markets.

Berry Global Inc. announced a new investment in a Reicofil RF5 asset to add 20,000 metric tons of capacity for the Asia markets, serving the Hygiene and Healthcare sectors. The company is searching for a location in China, with startup projected in 2019.

Berry Global purchased Adchem Corp., a Riverhead-based developer of high performance adhesive tape systems. Adchem will be combined with Berry's Engineered Materials Division.
