Boston Scientific formed an alliance with Blackstone Life Sciences to co-fund development of its Vitalyst miniature heart pump. Blackstone will provide up to $455 million in return for milestone payments and royalties.

Boston Scientific Corp has commenced operation at its new manufacturing plant in Batu Kawan Industrial Park, Penang, Malaysia. The company has invested hundreds of millions of ringgit and plans to add up to 400 new local jobs over two years.
