Matrix Adhesives Group

Matrix Adhesives Group, a TruArc Partners portfolio company, has acquired IPS Adhesives, a provider of high-performance adhesives, from IPS Corporation. Terms were not disclosed.

TruArc Partners, a private equity firm, acquired Matrix Adhesives Group from Goldner Hawn. Terms were not disclosed. Matrix provides adhesive and sealant solutions and is headquartered in Columbus, Ohio.

Matrix Adhesives Group announced it has completed its acquisition of Lohnpack Contract Filling, a niche provider of packaging and filling capabilities located in Hamilton, N.J.

Matrix Adhesives Group, backed by private equity firm Goldner Hawn, launched a North American adhesive and sealant manufacturing and packaging platform formed from the contemporaneous recapitalizations of Guy Chemical Company LLC and Nuco, Inc. Dan Horner, an industry veteran, will lead the combined platform as CEO.
