Iemants

A joint venture of EQUANS and Smulders (Iemants) has won a contract from Ailes Marines (Iberdrola) to engineer, construct, install and test the offshore substation for the 496 MW Saint-Brieuc wind farm off France. Works have started; sail-away is scheduled for spring/summer 2022.

TenneT has awarded a joint venture of Engie Fabricom and Iemants (a Smulders subsidiary) a contract to construct an offshore transformer station for the Hollandse Kust Noord wind farm zone. The station includes a 45-meter-high jacket and a 4,100-tonne topside. Engineering has started, with construction beginning in October 2020 and load-out planned for fall 2021 (jacket) and spring 2022 (topside).
