HyGear

Xebec Adsorption sold its subsidiary Green Vision Holding, parent of HyGear Technology and Services, to Hydrogen Solutions B.V., an affiliate of HoSt Holding, as part of its sale process announced on 7 February 2023. No value was disclosed.

HoSt Energy Systems has acquired HyGear, a hydrogen generation technology company, in a deal concluded on February 6, 2023. The acquisition aims to leverage synergies in renewable gas technologies.

HyGear has been awarded a long-term contract to supply high-purity hydrogen to a glass producer in Belgium, using its Hy.GEN technology and trailer supply from its Arnhem plant. The installation is expected to be commissioned in late 2019.

HyGear decided to invest in capacity expansion at its hydrogen plant in Arnhem, Netherlands, due to reaching maximum utilization, with support from the Gelderland Industrial Estate Restructuring Fund.
