Huisman has signed a contract with Keppel AmFELS to deliver a 2,200mt leg encircling crane for Dominion Energy's Charybdis, the first Jones Act-compliant wind turbine installation vessel. The crane is scheduled for delivery in 2023.

Wergeland Group and PSW Group signed a Letter of Intent with Huisman for the delivery of a 2,600-metric-ton Skyhook quayside crane at Gulen Industrial Harbour, Norway, to support offshore wind turbine assembly.

Huisman has added a Submarine Handling Crane to its Schiedam facility in the Netherlands, aiming to attract submarine builders for the Dutch Ministry of Defence's Walrus-class replacement program.

A consortium including HAL Investments, Ackermans & van Haaren, MerweOord, and Huisman reached a Heads of Agreement with Royal IHC's banks for the acquisition and refinancing of IHC Merwede Holding B.V. The deal is supported by a bridging loan from the Dutch government.

Huisman will build a 1,600-tonne capacity leg encircling crane for Fred Olsen Windcarrier, to be used for installing offshore wind turbine foundations and turbines. The crane will be installed on a jack-up vessel.
