BASF Shanghai Coatings Co., Ltd. entered the supply system of Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor Co., Ltd. for automotive body coatings, with an estimated annual procurement value of 35.13 million yuan (excluding tax) for 2026, supplied through agent Liuzhou Defu Coatings Sales Co., Ltd.

BASF expanded its automotive coatings plant in Caojing, Shanghai, with an investment estimated at $163.7 million. The project added new production lines, a solvent recovery unit, and other infrastructure, and was completed on time and 10% under budget.
