Brooks Equipment, a division of Brooks Group Australia, has introduced XCMG XDA45 articulated dump trucks to the Australian market, powered by Mercedes-Benz OM471 engines and Allison 4800 ORS transmissions. The company has brought 16 trucks into the country for sale and several for dry hire.

XCMG's XDE260 electric-drive mining trucks have officially entered operation with SimFer at the Simandou iron ore project in Guinea, under a major equipment supply contract. The trucks have a 230-tonne payload and are part of the primary mining fleet.
