Seemann Composites is expanding its Gulfport, Mississippi facility with a 16,000-square-foot addition to fulfill a new U.S. Navy contract. The project involves a $2.1 million investment and will create 35 jobs.

Seemann Composites, Inc. completed the acquisition of Materials Sciences Corporation, a composites engineering and manufacturing company based in Horsham, PA.

Seemann Composites opened a new 25,600-square-foot submarine bow dome production facility in Gulfport, Mississippi, representing a $4.6 million investment and creating 46 jobs. The facility supports a contract with General Dynamics Electric Boat for the U.S. Navy's Columbia Class submarine program.
