Airframes Alaska

Airframes Alaska has acquired Alaska Tent and Tarp, creator of the Arctic Oven Tent and other arctic-grade fabric products. The acquisition will allow Airframes Alaska to manufacture specialized textile product lines at facilities in Fairbanks and Anchorage.

Airframes Alaska purchased Performance STOL, designer of the double-slotted 'Keller' flap system for PA-18s and experimental Cub-type bush planes. The FAA has transferred the STC to Airframes Alaska, and production is expected to start in late August 2017.
