BGF Industries

Porcher Industries, through its US subsidiary BGF Industries, acquired a plant in Altavista, Virginia, to meet growing demand from automotive OEMs for glass fibre insulation and exhaust components. The plant is expected to be fully operational by Q1 2018, creating over 40 new jobs.

BGF Industries purchased the former Timken Company plant in Altavista, Virginia for $4 million, adding a third location in the town. The facility, called the Blue Ridge plant, will house the company's expanding engineered-component business for industrial textiles.
