Gemma Power Systems has received limited notice to begin preliminary design and site preparation for the 1.8 GW Guernsey Power Station in Ohio, being jointly developed by Caithness Energy and Apex Power Group. Full construction is expected to start in spring 2019 with completion in 2022.

Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems (MHPS) has been selected by Danskammer Energy to supply the M501JAC gas turbine for repowering the Danskammer Energy Facility in Newburgh, NY. The new combined-cycle facility will generate approximately 535 MW and cost over $400 million.
