Gemma Power Systems, a subsidiary of Argan Inc., received full notice to proceed on an EPC contract with CPV Basin Ranch Holdings for the 1,350 MW CPV Basin Ranch Energy Center in Ward County, Texas. Construction is expected to begin in fall 2025 with completion in 2028.

Argan's subsidiary Gemma Power Systems received full notice to proceed on an EPC contract with CPV Basin Ranch Holdings for the 1,350 MW CPV Basin Ranch Energy Center in Ward County, Texas, featuring GE 7HA.03 turbines and carbon capture capability, with completion scheduled for 2028.

Competitive Power Ventures completed construction of the 680 MW CPV Valley Energy Center, a dual-fuel combined-cycle facility in Wawayanda, New York, capable of supplying 600,000 homes with electricity.

GE secured a contract from Competitive Power Ventures (CPV) Fairview Energy Center to supply two 7HA gas turbines and an engineered equipment package for a 1,050MW combined-cycle facility in Pennsylvania. The project is expected to be operational in 2020.
