Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems received a full-turnkey EPC order from a Gulf Energy and Mitsui joint venture for a 5,300MW natural-gas combined-cycle plant near Bangkok, with a long-term service agreement, announced on 9 February 2018.
Yokogawa Turkey won an order to supply the CENTUM VP control system and field instruments for the 400 MW Zerger gas-fired power plant in Lebap Province, Turkmenistan, for Turkmenenergo, with work to finish by September 2020. The announcement is dated March 25, 2020.
Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems and developer Gaz Energie signed an agreement to develop the 515 MW Humay PS natural gas power project in Peru's Ica region, using MHPS JAC gas turbines. Commercial operation is planned for 2021.
KenGen selected Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems, with Mitsubishi Corporation and H. Young, to supply EPC services and two 70 MW steam turbine sets for the Olkaria V geothermal plant near Nakuru, Kenya. The plant is scheduled to start in 2019.
