Ramboll

Ramboll has acquired OBG, a US design consultancy specializing in water. The acquisition adds 230 water experts to Ramboll's global water team, which will grow to over 1,000 consultants. The integration takes effect January 1, 2019.

Elia awarded all main construction contracts for the Modular Offshore Grid (MOG) project, totaling €400 million. Contracts include detailed design by Ramboll, fabrication by Heerema Fabrication Group, electrical equipment by Siemens, and cable installation by Dredging International. The offshore hub will connect four wind farms and is scheduled to go live by September 2019.
