Heerema Fabrication Group

Elia awarded all main construction contracts for the Modular Offshore Grid (MOG) project, totaling €400 million. Contracts include detailed design by Ramboll, fabrication by Heerema Fabrication Group, electrical equipment by Siemens, and cable installation by Dredging International. The offshore hub will connect four wind farms and is scheduled to go live by September 2019.

Imtech Marine Netherlands signed a large HVAC contract with Heerema Fabrication Group to provide all heating, ventilation and air conditioning for the HelWin2 offshore wind energy platform in the German North Sea.

Heerema Fabrication Group has been awarded the procurement and construction contract for the Albatros Offshore Transformer Module by Siemens. The 1,000-tonne module is for the Albatros offshore wind farm in the German North Sea.
