Cementir

Cementir Holding's American subsidiary Aalborg Cement Company signed an agreement to acquire an additional 38.75% stake in Lehigh White Cement Company from Lehigh Cement Company (HeidelbergCement) for $106.6 million. After closing, Cementir will hold 63.25% of LWCC, which operates two white cement plants in Waco, Texas and York, Pennsylvania.

HeidelbergCement's Italian subsidiary Italcementi agreed to buy Cementir Italia from Cementir Holding for an enterprise value of €315 million. The acquisition includes five integrated cement plants and two grinding centers with total capacity of 5.5 million tonnes per year.

Cementir has announced it will acquire HeidelbergCement's Belgian assets for an enterprise value of EUR312 million (US$342 million), primarily consisting of Compagnie des Ciments Belges.
