West Cement

West Cement has reached an agreement to acquire 100% of South African building materials supplier AfriSam from 10 independent third parties for a maximum cash consideration of 25 billion South African Rand (approximately USD 145 million). AfriSam has annual capacities of 4.5 million tons of cement, 5 million tons of aggregates, and 1.5 million cubic meters of ready-mix concrete in South Africa, Botswana, and Lesotho.
