Sinoma International

Sinoma International's subsidiary Chengdu Building Materials Industry Design and Research Institute won a contract worth approximately 2.817 billion yuan for the Kafr El Sheikh housing construction project from the Egyptian Ministry of Defense. Project duration is 22 months after site handover.

Sinoma International, a subsidiary of China National Building Material Group, agreed to acquire Beijing Kaisheng, Nanjing Kaisheng and Sinoma Mining for about CNY 36.76 billion ($5.7 billion) to resolve competition in the cement engineering business.

Sinoma International's subsidiary Sinoma Construction signed a €245 million EPC contract with Les Ciments Du Sahel for the expansion of the Sahel cement plant in Kirene, Senegal. The project involves building a new 6,000 tpd clinker production line.

Sinoma International's subsidiary Tianjin Cement Industry Design and Research Institute signed a $236 million EPC contract with Melsey Engineering Co., Ltd. to build a 3000 t/d cement production line and a 200,000 t/y lime production line in Lubudi, Katanga Province, Congo.

Sinoma International's subsidiary Chengdu Institute of Building Materials signed a general contract with Iraqi Cement Company for a 6000-ton-per-day clinker cement production line in Iraq, valued at $246 million.
