LMT Tools India

LMT Tools India, a subsidiary of the Germany-based LMT Group, inaugurated the expansion of its manufacturing facility in Chakan, Pune, on February 2, 2026. The expansion increases production capacity by 60%, making it India's largest gear-cutting tool manufacturing plant.

LMT Tools India is expanding its state-of-the-art Pune manufacturing facility, adding enhanced production capacities for gear cutting tools and solid carbide round tools, a new coating facility, and a dedicated R&D center.
