Kalahari Cement

Kalahari Cement, a subsidiary of Amsons Group, has committed $200 million to modernise and expand East African Portland Cement's annual production capacity from 1.3Mta to nearly 4Mta within three years, including a new clinkerisation plant.

Kalahari Cement, a subsidiary of Amsons Group, will invest over US$200 million to modernise East African Portland Cement's (EAPC) integrated manufacturing plant in Kitengela, Kenya, tripling its capacity from 1.3 Mtpa to nearly 4 Mtpa within three years.

Kalahari Cement Ltd, a subsidiary of Amsons Group, completed the acquisition of a 29.2% equity stake in East African Portland Cement PLC (EAPC) from Associated International Cement Limited and Cementia Holding AG. The transaction was approved by the Capital Markets Authority on August 5, 2025.
