Cemtec Simba Cement to launch $220M clinker plant in West Pokot
Cemtec Simba Cement Company's new clinker plant in Sebit, West Pokot County, Kenya, will be commissioned by President William Ruto. The plant cost $220 million (about Sh29 billion) and will have capacity to process 6,000 tonnes of clinker daily (2 million tonnes annually). Construction began in 2010 but was delayed.
