East Africa Portland Cement Co (EAPCC) announced plans for a KES 30.53 billion (US$200 million) clinker line on a greenfield site in Kajiado county, Kenya, with a capacity of approximately 5,000 tonnes per day (4.4 million tonnes per year), expected to raise total clinker capacity to 10.7 million tonnes by 2025.
