Micropower

Micropower Group has signed an agreement to acquire all outstanding shares in Swede Electronics AB, a manufacturer of battery chargers for material handling applications, cleaning machines and electrical wheelchairs. The transaction is expected to close in June 2024.

Micropower is relocating to a new 25,000 m² battery and charger factory in Växjö, Sweden, housing production of lithium-ion batteries, chargers, and power converters, along with a new R&D center. The move starts in summer 2024 and is expected to be completed during 2025.
