Syensqo

Velocity Composites signed a US supply agreement for Syensqo's aerospace composite, adhesive and surfacing materials at the Farnborough International airshow.

Syensqo, Solvay's specialty chemicals group, has acquired JinYoung Bio, a South Korean supplier of specialty ingredients for cosmetics, to strengthen its position in skin care and biotechnology.

Syensqo started construction on a new battery-grade PVDF manufacturing facility in Augusta, Georgia. The plant will be the largest PVDF production facility in North America, creating about 100 jobs and supplying material for over 5 million EV batteries per year at full capacity.
