China Railway Engineering Equipment Group (CREG) delivered a 7.22m-diameter slurry TBM, 'CREC 1238', for the Singapore Cross Island Line CR116 project. The TBM passed its Factory Acceptance Test in early July 2024 and will be used by the Gammon-Bachy Soletanche joint venture.

China Railway Engineering Equipment Group (CREG) launched the first green shield tunneling machine on May 9, 2023. The dual-mode machine, with a 9.16m diameter, will be used for railway tunnels in Sicily, Italy.
