Haier

Haier and Highly broke ground on a joint venture air-conditioner compressor production base in Zhengzhou Economic-Technological Development Zone. The project has a total investment of 2 billion yuan and plans 15 million compressors per year, with phase one due in first half of 2024.

Haier broke ground on an expansion of its Ranjangaon, Pune factory, backed by a Rs 490 crore investment, to add production of new appliance lines and raise the workforce from 1,100 to 2,900.

A Naberezhnye Chelny cardboard and paper mill is installing a Jumbo corrugated packaging line supplied by Engico, with delivery from June 14 and installation from July 15, 2019. The line is meant to supply large corrugated packaging to Haier, which operates nearby.
