Sanad Group

Pratt & Whitney announced it will expand its GTF engine MRO network to include Sanad Group, which will build a new facility in Al Ain, UAE, expected to be completed by 2028. The facility will service PW1100G-JM, PW1500G, and PW1900G engines.

AerSale has acquired a portfolio of aircraft parts from Sanad Group, including components for 737NG, A320 family, A330/340, Boeing 777, Embraer E-Jet and QEC kits. The deal strengthens AerSale's inventory and MRO synergies.

Sanad, a Mubadala unit, signed a $408 million deal to sell 16 jet engines to Etihad Airways, including GEnx, GP7200, Trent XWB, and V2500 engines for Boeing and Airbus aircraft.

AvAir and Sanad Group have completed an agreement to create one of the world's largest component exchange pools for Airbus, Boeing, and Embraer aircraft components, adding over 6,000 OEM tagged LRUs for exchange.
