Strata

Strata, Mubadala's aerospace unit, delivered 100 shipsets of assembled A350-900 inboard flaps to Airbus. The company has moved from assembling to fabricating inboard flap components with a fully automated manufacturing process.

CTRM has a 10-year contract with Strata to supply structural composite detail aircraft parts, with first delivery in Q2 2020.

EDGE Group entity EPI extended its contract with Strata to produce complex titanium parts for Strata's Airbus A330 programme, covering manufacturing and treatment of spare parts until the end of 2030.

Strata is planning to open its second facility, a 'Factory of the Future', at the Nibras Al Ain Aerospace Park. The facility will manufacture complex aero-structures for Airbus and Boeing and is due to be fully operational in 2020.

Strata, a UAE-based advanced composite aero-structures manufacturer, and Spain's Aciturri Aeronáutica signed an MoU to collaborate on strengthening supply chain capabilities, including work transfer and subcontracting.
