AEQUITA SE & Co. KGaA entered a definitive agreement to acquire three businesses from Salzgitter Maschinenbau AG: PEINER SMAG Lifting Technologies, mobile drilling and mining solutions, and mobile antenna masts. The businesses generate about EUR 130 million in turnover with 850 employees.

The deal is expected to close by end of September 2022; financial terms were not disclosed.

Private equity firm AUCTUS Capital Partners agreed to invest in BMA Braunschweigische Maschinenbauanstalt, a mechanical engineering company, from Salzgitter Maschinenbau. Financial terms were not disclosed.
