BMA was awarded a contract by SUTA (COSUMAR Group) to supply four falling-film evaporators and a 5-chamber vacuum pan for a capacity increase from 9,200 to 12,000 t/d of beets. The first evaporator was delivered in late 2018, and commissioning of the vacuum pan is planned for the 2020 campaign.

BMA Braunschweigische Maschinenbauanstalt GmbH has appointed Dr Dirk Steinbrink as new CEO, succeeding Dr Rolf Mayer, and SMAG has become the new majority shareholder.
