Swisspearl Group acquired Denmark's Cembrit, a fiber-cement producer headquartered in Aalborg. The acquisition is retroactively effective from January 1, 2023, and adds 1,400 employees to Swisspearl's workforce.

Swiss fibre cement maker Swisspearl Group is acquiring Denmark's Cembrit for an undisclosed sum, creating the second-largest fibre cement producer in Europe. The acquisition is retroactive from January 1, 2022.

Danish building materials supplier Cembrit delivered its largest-ever single-project order: 26,000 sqm of facade and wind barrier panels for a new health centre in Helsingør, Denmark. The project is expected to be completed in autumn 2022.
