RR Kabel will invest around INR 400 crore in a new unit near Silvassa, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, with total capacity of 18,000 MTPA. First phase of 12,000 MTPA expected operational by March 2026, second phase of 6,000 MTPA by December 2026.

RR Kabel will invest around INR 1,050 crore at its Waghodia facility in Gujarat to add 36,000 MTPA of wire and cable production capacity, expected to be completed by March 2028.

RR Kabel has opened a new switches and switchgear manufacturing facility in Waghodia, Vadodara, India, along with a new corporate office in Vadodara.

RR Kabel announced it will acquire the fans and lighting business of Luminous, a brand owned by Schneider Electric. The deal value was not disclosed. The Luminous brand will be retained for about four years.
