Transformers and Rectifiers (India) Limited (TARIL) announced a ₹1,250 crore investment to set up three greenfield manufacturing plants at its Chiyada complex in Gujarat, producing high-voltage transformer bushings, pressboard and insulation materials, and continuously transposed conductors. Construction began in December 2025, with commercial operations expected in Q1 FY2027-28, creating over 1,000 direct jobs.
