SMT, part of Pattern Group, signed a binding investment agreement to acquire 100% of Umbria Verde Mattioli S.r.l., an Italian luxury knitwear manufacturer based in Umbria. The acquisition strengthens Pattern Group's position in the luxury knitwear sector.

Umbria Verde Mattioli shareholders signed a binding agreement to sell 100% of the capital to Società Manifattura Tessile S.r.l. (SMT), a subsidiary of Pattern S.p.A., for a price of 20 million euros. The closing is expected by June 2024.

ROMCO Equipment and its parent company SMT acquired 100% of Sierra Machinery, the exclusive Volvo CE dealer in southwestern Texas and southern New Mexico. The acquisition expands ROMCO's territory westward.

Harwood Private Equity has acquired SMT Corporation through a management buyout. SMT is a supplier of obsolete and hard-to-find critical electronic components for the US defense and aerospace industry.

SMT, a Belgian distributor, acquired Texas-based ROMCO Equipment Co., the exclusive Volvo Construction Equipment distributor in most of Texas, with twelve offices across the state. The sale closed on March 9, 2022.
